Champions of England once again

Manchester United is crowned the champions of the English Premier League once again. It was an emphatic victory, made sweeter by the fact that we did not end level on points with the hated Blues, which only managed a paltry draw with Bolton while Man Utd managed a sweet 2-0 victory over Wigan. The victory was never going to be in doubt, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a penalty and Ryan Giggs, the one and only Ryan Giggs, wrapping up with a second. And all the Blues are going home with, are sad faces and a broken shoulder for Captain John Terry.
Bye Bye Terry, take all the time you need to recover, and we'll take the Champions League trophy from you meanwhile...

On the other hand, I was really upset with Inter Milan for failing once again to wrap up the Scudetto with a simple win over Siena at home, by drawing! Fans have high hopes you know. And holding such a big advantage, they had to let it go down to the wire in the last match. That is pathetic. They were so dominant throughout the match and should have done more to seal up the win, which was REALLY disappointing. With all the home fans out with banners and flags and champagnes ready, they had to go out and not win this easy match. Now, a bad and familiar feeling is overwhelming me as I remember a few seasons back when Inter was the leader, but was pipped at the last day by a loss to Lazio which allowed Juventus to grab the title. That really sucks. I do hope history is NOT REPEATED.
