It was reported in the news yesterday that they discovered a rat's head in a bag of prawn crackers. Subsequently, the products are being pulled off shelves. So you gotta beware of what you eat.
It's really scary the foodstuff they product these days if you think about it. Recently there was the gyoza (dumplings) scare in Japan when they resulted in severe food poisoning for many people. Then there was Prima Deli in Singapore, where many people suffered severe food poisoning due to the existence of the salmonella bacteria in the food products. And then there are the many reports of fake eggs, fake milk powder produced in China, which are made of carcinogenic agents.
Gosh, the world is really turning unsafe. I think I will have to stick to eating safe things, such as shark's fin, bird's nest, abalone, caviar and truffles for my meals everyday...
And I will not be held to ransom to put up anyone's name on the next post just because of a pink pokka dot tie. So don't think about it!
